Fog Rift Fort can be found around Scadu Altus, West site of grace. You can get to Scadu Altus, West by traveling north from Castle Ensis. From the site of grace, you will find Fog Rift Fort to the west side. Jump down and make your way across the fortress towards the south to find the entrance where Black Knight Garrew awaits. This boss fight is pretty straightforward, and you can parry and dodge most of his attacks. Land a few backstabs to bring him down
Once defeated, you can get the Black Steel Greatshield drop. This shield will reduce mobility but will increase defense. You can unlock the skill Shield Bash that will help you ram your shield onto enemies, which can stagger them.
