Ganyu is one of the strongest DPS in the game and since she’s currently having her rerun in Version 3.6, we thought it would be a good time to discuss her best weapon options for all players and playstyles.
Ganyu’s Best Weapons in Genshin Impact 3.6
Ganyu has a plethora of weapon options due to her versatile kit and playstyle options. That said, if you do intend to use her as a support or Burst DPS in a Freeze team, we recommend only the 4-star support bows since 5-star support bows have high value and are better used on other characters.
F2P/4-Star Options
Ganyu’s best 4-star weapons are actually F2P so you can also get their maximum refinement if you have enough bow prototypes.
- Prototype Crescent- Great overall weapon except against enemies without a weak spot.
- Hamayumi- Another great option even though it vastly reduces the utility of her elemental burst.
For an off-field Burst support or Freeze Ganyu, any of the following weapons can be a good pick:
- End of the Line- Decent option since it gives ER and deals AoE DMG.
- Fading Twilight- Another decent ER weapon that also works off-field.
- Favonius Warbow- Best weapon for off-field support Ganyu due to its high ER bonus.
- Stringless- To be considered only when she has enough ER as this can buff her Skill and Burst DMG.
5-Star Options
Ganyu’s 5-star options are basically almost all of the 5-star DPS bows in the game and even though her signature weapon is very strong and requires low investment, it’s still not actually her best-in-slot option.
- Polar Star- Overall her best-in-slot weapon.
- Aqua Simulacra- The best option for Melt Ganyu and the second-best option overall.
- Amos’ Bow- Ganyu’s signature weapon but it scales badly with high investment.
- Hunter’s Path- Excellent for Melt Ganyu.
- Skyward Harp- Great stat stick and better than all her 4-star options.
- Thundering Pulse- Another great stat stick even though its Normal Attack buff from its passive is useless on Ganyu.
