Best Mimikyu Moveset
- Shadow Claw
- Shadow Sneak
- Play Rough
- Swords Dance
Mimikyu’s build focuses more on speed, hence where most of its stat allocation goes. The Shadow Sneak effect will further increase its speed by 1 priority, and if no other Pokémon can top that, it will make Mimikyu go first in the round. Using Swords Dance in conjunction with a high Attack stat can amp up Mimikyu’s offense. Use it in combination with Shadow Claw for an increased critical hit. Rough Play can lower the opponent’s attack stat by 1 and has a 10% chance to do so. This is super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting Pokémon. You can swap Play Rough with Wood Hammer while dealing with Water, Rock, and Ground Types. You can also swap Shadow Sneak with Trick Room to make the slowest Pokémon go first instead of five turns.
Best Mimikyu Team
While Mimikyu does well to mitigate most of the damage, it does not do well in one on ones. Having Dragonite and Quaquaval can help Mimikyu tackle the other Pokémon types that it otherwise cannot. Plus with their speeds combined, they can all take the first hit if it is carefully executed.
