Baldur’s Gate 3 is a role-playing game where players can play and choose between 12 classes and 11 races.  The game was developed and published by Larian Studios. This game is the third game in the Baldur’s Gate series and it continues to follow the dungeon and dragons theme like the previous games. With 12 classes and many different spells ranging from level 1 to level 6, players will have many things to do. Players will also be completing many quests as well, from main campaign to side quests. One of those quests is called Free True Soul Nere, in this quest, players need to clear the rubble and free Nere from underneath it. How To Free True Soul Nere?

In order to get the quest called Free True Soul Nere and complete it, players will need to follow these steps: 

1. Players first need to talk to Sergeant Thrinn, she will ask players to free Nere from the rubble behind her. (then the quest Free True Soul Nere will start) 
2. Players then need to interact with the rubble, which will lead to this to a small communication with Nere. He will tell players to not trust the mercenaries. 
3. The players will talk to Nere and decide that they need to find Smokepowder (explosive)
4. Players then need to go to Grymforge where they will find a hand-drawn map which shows the way for a barrel full of explosives can be found. 
5. It is advised for players to save frequently as one wrong move can wipe out the whole team. 
6. Then players will need to go to the location and talk to NPC called Philomeen. 
7. Players need to convince her but then they will 2 choices: Players can agree to take the Runepowder Vial (instead of the barrel) or players can fight and defeat her to get the barrel.

NOTE: Players need to interact with the barrel with the character who has the most dexterity otherwise the barrel will explode. 

8. After getting the barrel, return to the rubble and place the barrel onto the rubble. 
9. Talk to Nere and then explode the barrel to finally free Nere. 

Players need to do the above steps as fast as possible otherwise Nere will be killed by  Duergar and players will only find Nere’s body. If players are too late and find Nere’s Body, they can collect the loot and this will end the quest.
