You can now experience the world of Pandora like never before in the latest Avatar installment. There are several quests you can pick up and clear to make progress in the game. In one of the earlier quests called Welcome to the Resistance, you will get a strange objective. You need to use the SID to fix the maintenance nodes inside the Resistance HQ. Using this device will help you learn more about the gameplay features and how to use certain equipment. After rescuing So’lek in the earlier mission, he will tell you to head over to the Resistance HQ while he takes care of the RDA aerial units. Once you reach the HQ, you will be introduced to the survivors inside and also get a chance to speak to your old mentor, Alma. You will be then guided around the place by Teylan, another Sarentu survivor. During the tour, be sure to investigate certain areas, as you might find rare items. Eventually, you will meet Alex, who will hand over the Systems Interrogation Device or SID. This device, when equipped, will help in disrupting, hacking, or fixing certain nodes and devices.
To use the SID, equip the device and you will notice a light coming from it. You will also now see green wire on the ground. Follow the wire to the source and interact with the generator. You will notice another orange wire leading out from the generator, and a cue will appear on the left side of the screen on what you must do. Once you focus the SID on the generator, a green circle will appear. There is also a white circle with it. You have to enlarge or shrink the white circle to match with the green circle. If done correctly, the orange wire will now turn green.
Follow Alex’s instructions and check out the other two generators. Follow the wires to its destinations. At the last generator, you have to solve a quick puzzle to hack the generator. After placing the white and green circles together, a new screen will appear. You have to navigate the dot to the hacking node on the far left side. This is a timed challenge, so keep an eye on the timer on top to avoid failing. Follow the path and navigate towards the hacking node to complete the objective.
