In Anno 117: Pax Romana, fame serves as a second currency; with it, you’ll be able to unlock cosmetics for your cities. Once you start collecting, you can spend Fame in the Hall of Fame on gods, ornaments, portraits, ship skins, and other extras that help personalise your empire.
If you’re wondering how to gain more Fame quickly, you’ll acquire nearly all of it via Accolades. Here’s how they work, and what rewards you can chase.

How Fame Works in Anno 117

Accolades are divided into sets of nine themed tasks. Individual tasks reward between 15 and 50 Fame when completed, while finishing an entire Accolade set provides a bonus 90 Fame. A number of these tasks also serve as Achievements, meaning you’ll cross entries off both checklists simultaneously.
At any time, you can check your progress by clicking on your governor’s portrait at the top of the screen. Below is the full breakdown of how much Fame each Accolade offers.
Total Fame Gained from All Honours
| Accolade | Total Fame |
| Visionary Architect | 290 |
| Efficient Economist | 275 |
| Farsighted Administrator | 290 |
| Skillful Envoy | 290 |
| Overall Winner | 325 |
| Keen Listener | 290 |
| Steadfast Governor | 290 |
| Insightful Sage | 290 |
| Ninefold Annotator | 275 |
| Loyal Roman | 270 |
| Indomitable Celt | 290 |
| TOTAL | 3,175 |
That’s all the Fame that you can currently earn just for completing Accolades, which is more than enough to unlock a huge chunk of the Hall of Fame rewards.
