Alpha Tubster is one of the tougher Aniimo encounters in The Argent Strait, requiring you to break through its Storm Shield before you can weaken it. This guide covers where to find Alpha Tubster, how to counter its Wind element, interrupt its shield, keep your Aniimo healthy, and successfully capture it for useful rewards.
How to Find and Defeat The Alpha Tubster
You’ll need to start by going to the eastern part of The Argent Strait. Travel to the area scattered with stone pillars near the water and you’ll find the Alpha of Argent Strait: Tubster roaming the area. Be sure to bring along a Flying Aniimo, since the decent down to the boss lair is too far below.
Note: You’ll only get one chance to catch the Alpha after it’s defeated so be sure to use the most advanced Aniipod you have. The Aniipod Ultra and the Sparkling Cube are the only two pods that offer 100% catch rate, so be sure to stock up on those before the match.
Alpha Tubster is a level 30 Aniimo who is capable of summoning Storm Shields. Your main objective here is to deal enough damage to break the Storm Shield and force the Alpha to reach the Weakened state.
Since the Alpha Tubster uses the Wind element, you can use a level 35 Helion for better combat results against the Aniimo. Some of the skills that will work well against the Alpha Tubster are:
- Light Bombardment.
- Sun-kissed.
- Helio’s Judgement (Ultimate).
Twine with Helion for better control over your Aniimo’s powers rather than using commands to make them attack. Keep dealing damage continuously on the Aniimo and when you see the Alpha gathering power for its Storm Shield, try to destroy the shield by interrupting the casting.
If you go low on HP in between fights, you can use Pranky to heal. You just need to keep dealing damage on the Alpha Tubster and you’ll eventually be able to defeat and capture him. The rewards you’ll get for capturing this Aniimo are 30× Glimmer and 5× Aniipod Mega.
