Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a first-person shooter released in 2024, co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, and published by Activision. Like previous games in the Black Ops series, it offers both a multiplayer mode and a cooperative round-based Zombies mode. Wherever there are zombies in Call of Duty, you’re sure to come across Wonder Weapons. These incredibly powerful weapons have been a key part of the series since Zombies mode was first introduced in World at War, and the lineup for Black Ops 6 is looking great so far.
All Wonder Weapons in Black Ops 6 Zombies
In Black Ops 6, there are four Wonder Weapons available in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Some of these weapons are tied to specific maps, but all of them are great for taking on the relentless waves of zombies, making survival a lot easier. The four Wonder Weapons are:
1. Beamsmasher
2. The Ray Gun
3. Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 (Jet Gun)
4. Wunderwaffe DG2
1. Beamsmasher
Making its debut in Black Ops 6 and exclusive to the Terminus map, the Beamsmasher is a formidable new Wonder Weapon that unleashes an Aetheric beam to take out zombies. It has two firing modes: the first shoots a solid energy beam that makes zombies explode into a cloud of vaporized dust, while the second uses sound waves to target and incapacitate multiple enemies at once. You can upgrade the Beamsmasher up to three times with Pack-a-Punch, enhancing its power even further. The Beamsmasher is found in Terminus.
2. The Ray Gun
The iconic Ray Gun makes its return in BO6, complete with updated animations. This pistol-like weapon is still a force to be reckoned with, letting players blast zombies away with its powerful plasma rays. First introduced as the original Wonder Weapon in World at War’s Zombies, continues to be a fan favourite. The Ray Gun is found in Terminus and Liberty Falls.
3. Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 (Jet Gun)
First seen in Black Ops 2’s TranZit map, the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23, or Jet Gun, is a powerful Wonder Weapon. It features lethal rotors that let players pull in zombies and then shred them right out the back of the gun. It has two firing modes: the primary mode quickly pulls in nearby zombies, drawing them into the rotor blades for instant destruction. The secondary mode releases a powerful blast that creates a huge area-of-effect, wiping out zombies around the user when the weapon overheats. The Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 (Jet Gun) is found in Liberty Falls.
4. Wunderwaffe DG2
The Wunderwaffe DG2 was the second Wonder Weapon introduced in Call of Duty’s Zombies mode. This iconic weapon returns in Black Ops 6, featuring prominently in the Liberty Falls cinematic where Richtofen uses it. It can unleash a staggering 200,000 amperes of lethal electrical current, instantly killing its main target with a lightning bolt. This bolt can then jump to up to nine nearby enemies without losing power, potentially allowing you to take out 10 foes with a single shot.
