Genesis 1 in Ark Survival Ascended brings back the same biome from the original map but with a few major changes, especially the much larger Ocean Biome. All Resource Locations In Genesis 1
Genesis 1 is a new update for Ark Survival Ascended. While most of the map is similar to the original version, the Ocean Biome has been completely redesigned.
Oil, Metal, Crystal, Obsidian, and Salt
One of the easiest places to farm several resources at once is a cave in the Ocean Biome at 50.7, 65.6. Before going inside, bring a strong tame because Megalania often spawn in the cave. Inside you will find:
- Plenty of Oil nodes
- Metal
- Crystal
- Obsidian
- Salt
The cave has many entrances and levels, making it one of the best locations to farm resources.
Crystal, Metal, and Obsidian
If you want crystals early in the game, visit 37.0, 72.2. This spot is very easy to reach and contains
- Crystal
- Metal
- Obsidian
As everything is found in one place, it is a good place to gather resources without travelling to different areas.
Silica Pearls
Silica Pearls are found towards the Ocean Biome, especially around the small islands. You can find them lying on the seabed. So, keep an eye out while exploring. The island near the crystal location is a good place to collect a good amount of pearls. If you have an Anglerfish, bringing it here will make collecting pearls even faster. This area also has Araneo, Arthropluera, and salt.
Scorched Earth Resources
If you want Scorched Earth materials, go to 30.0, 80.5. This island has almost everything you need, including:
- Cactus
- Sulfur
- Salt
- Obsidian
- Armadoggo spawns
- Morellatops
- Lymantria
If you want Plant Species X Seeds, harvest the special plants on this island using a Sickle.
Red, Green, and Blue Gems
The easiest way to reach the Gems cave is by tracking the Bottlenose Blitz mission. It leads you directly to a cave located at 51.5, 50.7. Where you will find:
- Red Gems
- Green Gems
- Blue Gems
Ambergris, Condensed Gas, and Element Shards
To collect Ambergris, teleport to the Lunar Biome and bring a Hazard Suit and Mining Laser. Look for the rocks for a faint green glow and mine them. These rocks can drop:
- Ambergris
- Condensed Gas
- Element Shards
Ambergris is important for raising Magmasaurs and feeding Astrocetus.
Black Pearls and Element
For Black Pearls, teleport to the Volcanic Biome and track the Gotta Go Fast mission. Follow the mission path until you reach 23.9, 92.2. Bring a powerful combat tame, as you will find many dangerous creatures. Once you reach the resources area, you will find black pearls scattered in the group. There, you will also find red crystals; mine them using a Mining Laser or Mining Drill, as they are a good source of income elements to be used in the game.
Charcoal
Charcoal is easy to collect in the Volcanic Biome. Look for the burned trees scattered around the area and harvest them. You can also make charcoal by burning wood in a campfire or forge.
Polymer Farm and Ferox
To get Polymer, go to the Frost Biome and track the Searching for the Frozone mission. Along the way, you will find large groups of Kairuku, which are great for farming organic polymer. Near the Frost Biome route, you will find a cave where Ferox naturally spawn.
