Slide, Dive, and Jump are the most common moves that players often perform, and performing them properly will make a match memorable.

While playing MLB The Show 23, you’ll notice, Slide, Dive, and Jump don’t have any prompts. So, it is natural that players want to know how to perform these moves in the game, and w have covered these processes entirely-

MLB The Show 23- How to Slide, Dive and Jump

If you want to Slide, hold L1. Now, move the Right Thumbstick in different directions to determine the direction your player will slide. For example, moving the Right Thumbstick Up will trigger Headfirst Slide; moving it down will trigger Feetfirst Slide; Move it to the right side or left side to aim for the Right or Left side of the base, respectively.
If your fielding setting is the default, press R2 to Dive. However, you can change the Settings from Gameplay> Defense.
Similarly, if you have the default settings, press R1 to Jump. However, you can change it to R2 if you want.
