The Callisto Protocol is one of this year’s most awaited Sci-fi survival horror games, released on 2nd December 2022. Like other survival horror games, this game also has powerful enemies, weapons, in-game currencies, healing items, etc. So, naturally, it is confusing for the players to decide which are the essential items to upgrade first and which are not. If you also have similar confusion and looking for a guide to help, this guide will help you with it.
Most Required Items in The Callisto Protocol- Which to Upgrade First?
In The Callisto Protocol, there are lots of upgrades and items you can purchase and use in the game. All of them give you new skills or abilities, but not everyone is worth buying. So, it’s better not to waste your Callisto Credits on random purchases. Otherwise, you may lack them when needed. We will help you know how to be strategic with purchasing upgrades for your weapons in The Callisto Protocol-
Baton
Baton is the melee weapon you need throughout your entire journey. You may sometimes lack ammo, so you need your Baton to defeat enemies. So, players need to upgrade their Baton to attach additional abilities to it. For example, Heavy Attack and Additional Blocking abilities help you immensely. For Heavy Attack, you need to unlock the Riot Control Swing skill and for Additional Blocking skills, unlock the Blocking Protection.
Weapon
Weapons are essential in The Callisto Protocol, and deciding which weapon you should not get is pretty problematic. Weapon upgrades are expensive and require lots of Callisto Credits, but players should purchase as many as possible because some upgrade boosts the Fire rate, Some boost damage, or some increase the magazine. It’s not fair to get the weapon upgrades.
Ammo and Heath
We recommend not to waste your Callisto Credits on Ammo or Health Items. These two are vital elements but can be found while progressing through the game. So, it’s not wise to purchase them unless you are in a desperate situation.
GRP
GRP is another crucial part of the game that allows players to use telekinesis powers. So, upgrading GRP is essential, but don’t randomly purchase every upgrade. These upgrades are costly, and not everyone is worth buying. Purchase Upgrades that improve the GRP Velocity or Throwing Speed.
These are the upgrades you should focus on at the beginning of The Callisto Protocol. If you have enough Credits, save them for later, as Callisto Credits are not easily acquirable.
