What is Horde Rush Mode in Fortnite- Explained
Horde Rush Mode is one of the newly introduced modes by Epic Games to celebrate Halloween. Fortnite has already begun the Halloween celebration with the Fortnitemare event and Horde Rush mode. Horde Rush is a co-op mode, and players can’t play it solo. It requires teammates to play with. If you have friends to play together, join the map together, but if you are a solo player, don’t get upset. You can also participate with random teammates. The game will matchmake and randomly form a team of four players to fight against the monsters.
First, you’ll get a small area to fight the monsters, as the remaining map will be covered with Storm. The first few seconds are given to the players to loot the chests and ammo boxes to get weapons and ammo. When you arrive, both your health and shield will be full. That’s a big difference from other battle-royale modes where the shield is 0 upon arriving on the map. After a few seconds, the fight begins, and you’ll find a massive group of monsters attacking you from different directions. Stay in a safe position and fight with them.
While fighting with the enemies, you’ll also notice that the Storm has covered the entire area, and you have to follow the Storm to reach another safe area. During your run, you have to fight enemies constantly, and as the match progresses, the enemies become stronger. You don’t need to worry about ammo; you get them by killing the monsters. Monsters drop ammo upon death.
You’ll find various types of monsters, and they will soon surround and attack you if you don’t kill them faster or run away. Finally, if you make it to the last level, you’ll fight the final boss, who has a huge health bar and is probably, one of the most powerful bosses, you have seen in Fortnite.
Horde Rush is a Zero Build Mode and one of the most challenging game modes. It requires skill; otherwise, you can’t survive. In build modes, it is still easy to avoid enemies, but it is the no-build mode, and moreover, the monsters can enter every house and every location. So, you can’t hide from them. This mode is a test of your skills and will last until 15th November 2022.
