How to Get Ancient Relics

Ancient Relics are a type of currency needed to buy diving gear. There are two ways through which Ancient Relics can be acquired in Crimson Desert.

The first way of getting Ancient Relics is through shark hunting and other big aquatic animals. Sharks are found in many areas around the sea, and you do not require diving equipment to hunt them. To do this, you need to jump into the sea and kill them using your harpoon gun to get the Ancient Relics. Since sharks appear randomly, you may need to spend some time farming them.
The second method is to search underwater chests. During the A Wider World mission, you will get a boat and can enable the underwater detection option to locate potential loot beneath the water. These chests do have an Ancient Relic drop chance, but it is not guaranteed.
How to Get the Harpoon Gun

In order to hunt sharks and other large aquatic animals, having a harpoon gun is quite essential. Luckily, you can earn this device as you advance in the intersection in A Wider World. The harpoon gun is rewarded during this mission and can also be upgraded.
After obtaining the harpoon gun, it will become possible for you to catch sharks and acquire a variety of Ancient Relics. Collect 22 Relics before you visit the Relic Exchange trader in Demeniss Port to find and buy a whole set of scuba gear sets.
