Farming biomaterials and binding catalysts in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ can help you upgrade important facilities in your FOB. Luckily these resources can be gathered by scouting specific areas in the northwest part of the map. This article covers the areas worth exploring along with the route and provides some useful tips for a successful haul.
Best Locations to Farm Biomaterials and Binding Catalysts
Your main locations for gathering these items are the hospitals and clinics. Look for medical bags and wall-mounted medical supplies as they hold most of the items you need. There is a route in the northwest corner of the map that passes by about four or five hospitals and clinics.
You should also check fire stations because they have some medical bags too. Police stations have less medical supplies, but they are still helpful for getting some extra supplies. Keep an eye for their bathrooms since there may be some medical boxes and mirrors where you can find medical supplies.
How to Follow the Farming Route
Follow the path through the northwestern corner of the map, stopping at each hospital, clinic, fire station, and police station along the way. Make sure to search every single one of those places for any supplies lying around.
You can also loot the train and its many medical boxes. Before the match begins, check your map to locate it, then go to its nearest station and board it. After going through the medical boxes, get off the train near the location where the farming route begins. If you spawn in the northwest corner, then you can complete the route first and then board the train afterward.
Tips for Efficient Farming
Solo gamers and groups can opt for the northwest path instead of going through the crowded hospital near the casino. Players can also wipe out nearby outposts to collect materials, however, these offer minimal biomaterials and binding catalysts. Comprehensive looting can yield up to 20 biomaterials and 10 binding catalysts depending on availability.
