In order to complete the objective of “Investigate the Vision of Jesse on the Island of Orange Pipes,” you need to get to the secret spot at the Underpass. Getting there will not be an easy task because it will require using the Levitate power and getting across some floating platforms. This guide explains how to reach the island and enter the Fault without getting lost.
Investigate the Vision of Jesse on the Island of Orange Pipes
During the quest called the Underpass Fault, make use of any Fast Travel Door and select Underpass > The Spire. Central Executive’s Fast Travel Door will also work. Once there, go to the map, find the location of your quest marker located towards the north-west direction and position yourself there facing the quest area from the edge of the landing pad.
Use your Levitate ability to pass through the gap, landing on the floating concrete pillars to get to the island before you. You will know you are in the correct location if you see big orange pipes encircling the grey towers.
Activate the Fast Travel Door
Get to the top of the island and use the Fast Travel Door located on the yellow platform. After using it, you will receive a new waypoint, which is Fault. This will help you come back easily if you get killed or move away from the area.
Use the Fast Travel Door and then climb up the narrow pillars made up of concrete material until you find orange curved pipes. Then follow them until you see a dark entrance in the concrete wall, and then jump into it.
You will fall down into a room filled with water and will have several fungal creatures floating there. Kill them all before going further, as the next corridor is very narrow.
Enter the Fault
Keep moving ahead into the passage that is illuminated in green. Your confirmation to proceed in the correct direction comes from hearing the break-up of Jesse’s voice and also The Board talking. Proceed until you reach the huge drainpipe in the centre of the region, and slide down it.
After that, use Levitate to move across the gap and reach the rock that is floating in the air and is covered by the golden carpet and a glowing Fault. Press the interact button upon reaching the Fault to access it. This will complete the quest objective, and you will find a new objective in your quest log.
