In Escape from Tarkov, there is a mission called Abandoned Cargo, which involves finding seven abandoned cargo containers found throughout the area. It is not necessary for you to find all the cargo containers, since marking one of them would be enough to complete the mission. In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find all seven cargo containers so you can complete the task.
Abandoned Cargo Task Guide
Visit the Therapist after completing the Seaside Vacation mission. Then, the Abandoned Cargo task will unlock. The mission requires the player to find and mark seven abandoned containers using the MS2000 Markers. The player should have his marker ready when he starts. In case the player does not have it, he can purchase one from Prapor. Then, head into the Customs map to start locating all containers.
First Cargo Container
The first cargo is outside Big Red, near the Director’s Office. Walk around to the front of the building, and you’ll find it there.
Second Cargo Container
For the next locations, head to the area opposite Crack House. You will see two warehouses next to each other. Enter the warehouse on the left (Warehouse 17). The first cargo inside is at the end of the truck.
Third Cargo Container
Go upstairs, and you’ll find another cargo on the left side.
Fourth Cargo Container
Head back down the stairs and look inside the small cutout area to find the next one.
Fifth Cargo Container
Now cross the road and enter the warehouse opposite. The next cargo is immediately on the left, near the end of the room.
Sixth Cargo Container
Turn right and go through the door. Follow the path past the barrels and head all the way to the end. Jump through the window on the right, and the final cargo will be on your left.
Once you find them, mark any one of the seven locations where cargo is hidden using your marker. You don’t have to mark all seven. Once you do that, the Abandoned Cargo mission will be done.
