The Marine Sofa is a furniture piece that will be required to complete one of the requests by Mareanie in the Bubbly Basin DLC for Pokémon Pokopia. Where To Get A Marine Sofa Recipe
The Marine Sofa recipe is available in Pokémon Pokopia by completing the Bubbly Basin DLC quest and speaking with Mareanie. Give Shiny Pearl to Mareanie in exchange for the recipe that requires:
- 1 Seashell
- 1 Shiny Pearl
- 1 Twine
Put the Marine Sofa into Mareanie’s house, after which you need to speak with Mareanie when you’re done with decoration. Once you’ve spoken with it, the quest is over.
How to Get a Shiny Pearl
In order to have a Shiny Pearl, you should have either Shellder or Cloyster; the Pokémons can help clean the Grubby Pearls and make them a Shiny Pearl. First, look around the beach area adjacent to the main square. There will be lots of Grubby Pearls lying on the floor.
After that, you will have to make a Shellder habitat. Purchase the Sand Toys decoration from the store, which is available approximately at Environment Level 2. Put the Sand Toys close to the sand hills to make the habitat for Shellder. Then call Shellder to come to the place and talk to it. Give it the Grubby Pearls and let it clean them. In a little while, Shellder will turn them into a Shiny Pearl.
How to Get Seashells
To collect Seashells really quickly, go to Dream Island. Unlocking this location using the Pokémon Pikachu will allow you to travel to the island and pick up a lot of seashells that can be found on the island. Keep in mind that only one trip to this place per day is allowed for every Pokémon that can take you there.
How to Get Twine
Bleak Beach is the best location for gathering Twine. While exploring Bleak Beach, look for small mounds of cloth that are lying on the ground. Use the Cut action on the cloth mounds to break them down, and then you will get Twine. There are many such cloth mounds found in Bleak Beach, making it easy to gather a lot of Twine there.
Where to Use the Marine Sofa
After crafting the Marine Sofa, you need to collect 6 Decorative Pokeballs scattered around Bubbly Basin too, along with 6 pedestals. Take all the items to Misty’s Gym and place everything down in order. Once completed, you have now unlocked a new habitat that will summon a new Pokemon: Starmie.
