Calculated Romance is a Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet that tasks you with helping Sha Dachun prepare for a confession by finding one of two books. How to Unlock Calculated Romance
The Calculated Romance Wandering Tale unfolds in Mohist City, a city within Hidden Mountain’s Suixiang region. First travel to Fallowfields Refuge Boundary Stone to begin the quest. After that, go to the nearby lockpicking training area and meet Sha Dachun, who is standing beside some workers that are tending to grains.
After the conversation with Sha Dachun, the quest will begin. Ask Sha Dachun after the first conversation to know what he wants. He admits that he needs to confess his feelings to a girl named Yuexin and is on the lookout for one out of the two books.”
Which Book Should You Give?
Sha Dachun mentions two possible books:
- The Love Hustler’s Guide
- Xie Chawei’s Math Treatise
Only one of these books is required to finish the Wandering Tale. No matter which one you choose, the quest rewards remain the same.
How to Get The Love Hustler’s Guide
Shopkeeper Shu sells the book, The Love Hustler’s Guide in the Exchange Quarter which is south of Fallowfields Refuge.
Start your journey from the Exchange Quarter teleportation stone, then go up the hill and up the stairs until you find the cat statue. Here, turn left and take the first right into the store. After that, buy The Love Hustler’s Guide from Shopkeeper Shu, then go back to Sha Dachun. You can find more books in the store to add to your collection
Where to Find Xie Chawei’s Math Treatise
Should you prefer the second volume, go to the Confluence Gazebo Boundary Stone. Once you get to the large room in the northern part of the Fallowfields Refuge, go to the right side of the facility and look for an NPC sitting on a table and you will see Xie Chawei’s Math Treatise placed nearby. Pick it up and return it to Sha Dachun with it.
Complete the Quest
After you have found one of the books, go back to Sha Dachun and deliver it. The delivery marks the successful completion of the quest; however, the quest will still continue. The gameplay time needs to go forward by one day (Si hour), and then you can return to speak with Sha Dachun and complete the Calculated Romance Wandering Tale.
