Skin Deep is one of the quests under Wandering Tale Quests in Where Winds Meet, where you will be exploring all around Moi City to find out about the enigmatic series of clues. In order to finish this quest, you need to investigate a house, find a flower which can be found below the waterfall, and collect a letter.
Skin Deep Quest
In order to begin the “Skin Deep Wandering Tale,” teleport to the Mountain Verge Boundary Stone located south of Mohist City. Drop down from the balconies and head towards the ground floor of the buildings. There, look for Shasha.
Go inside the house next to her and enter the bedroom to overhear a conversation between Zhang Shuo and Lan, which will begin the quest. Talk to Zhang Shuo. He will ask you to get a Cloudborne Bloom for him. However, if he is unavailable for the conversation, change the game time to day and talk to him.
Find the Flower
Visit the largest waterfall nearby. You will be able to find it very easily while crossing the bridge. Locate the largest rock near the waterfall, and there, just next to it, is the Cloudborn Bloom. Take the flower and go back to the same house. Give the flower to the NPC and move on with the quest.
Once you give the flower, you will be given another clue which says that you need to visit there the next day. Just change the time to the next day again. Look behind you, and there you will see Miss Lan. After the dialogue, you will have to find a letter.
Collect Zhang Shou’s Letter
The next location that you will visit is the Exchange Quarter. Go to the location and proceed to go to the big tree. Right before you get to the zipline, you will see a clue if you did not yet find this clue. Find Zhang Shou in his store. You need to ignore him and just follow him and pick up Zhang Shou’s Letter.
When you get the letter, Zhang Shou will vanish. Now go back to Miss Lan. Walk inside the building and give the letter to Miss Lan, completing the quest Skin Deep. Once you complete the Skin Deep Wandering Tale, you’ll receive the following rewards:

- 10 Hidden Mountain Exploration
- 3,750 Coins
- 3,750 Character EXP
