Finish the His Heart’s Errands Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet by finding Chen Shezhi in different places of Mohist City. During the quest, it will be necessary to progress the game time, investigate the clues that Chen Shezhi leaves, collect the required item, and meet him at each destination until you complete the story line.
How to Complete His Heart’s Errands
To start the His Heart’s Errands Wandering Tale, go to the marked location in Mohist City and search for the person named Chen Shezhi. You have to talk several times to him until your conversation comes to an end. After the conversation you will receive your first clue which instructs you to meet him tomorrow at the Docks.
Advance the in-game time to the next day (Si hour) as changing the time is required several times throughout this quest.
Meet Chen Shezhi at the Docks
Visit Deepwave Works and teleport to the nearest teleportation stone. There you will need to go to the large crane on your left. At the end of that large crane, you will find Chen Shezhi. Interact with him to advance through the quest.
After the conversation, you’ll receive the next clue directing you to the residential area near Shadow Quarter on the following day.
Find Chen Shezhi in the Residential Area
Fast forward in time to the next day (Si hour) and go to the housing area next to Shadow Quarter. After you use the teleportation stone to reach the proper area, turn around and you’ll find Chen Shezhi with Aunt Lin Er and Auntie Xiang. Speak to him to move further through the quest. He will mention that he is looking for the Iron Ruler.
Retrieve the Iron Ruler
Upon completion of your conversation with Chen Shezhi, proceed to the right side and employ the services of Vincense to track down the Iron Ruler. After locating it, hand it over to Chen Shezhi. After returning back the item, start a conversation once again with him to receive the upcoming clue that sends you to the Bookstore the next day.
Visit the Bookstore
Advance the in-game time to the next day (Si hour) and make your way to the Bookstore. You can either make your way through the town or head directly there from the Big Tree marketplace. Go downstairs past the school and walk around to get to the bookstore where Chen Shezhi will be waiting for you.
Speak with him again to continue. During this conversation, you can choose the optional bonus interaction. It costs 100 Gold Coins, and you’ll receive the 100 Gold Coins back after completing this part of the quest.
After the dialogue, you’ll receive another clue telling you to meet him in the East Foothills after two days.
Meet Chen Shezhi in the East Foothills
Advance the in-game time by two days (Chen hours), then travel to the East Foothills. From the teleportation stone, head straight while keeping to the right. After passing through the tunnel, look to the right to find a zipline.
Chen Shezhi will be waiting there. Speak with him one last time to complete His Heart’s Errands Wandering Tale. Completing the quest rewards you with 30× Echo Jade, 10× Hidden Mountain Exploration, 3750× Coin, and 3750× Stored EXP.
