First Location
The best location for collecting Nightstar Sand should be the southwestern island, located right under the volcano. To start farming, ensure that it’s nighttime since Nightstar Sand can be detected only during this period of time. This sand shows as a glow on the beaches. It is important for crafting late-game items like the Metal Detector, Air Dash Boots, and Beam Swords.
It’s best to begin with the Deserted Ash Plateau at coordinates (-1399, 1019), then go to the coast and start walking on the beach. It’s important to pay attention to glowing on the ground since Nightstar Sand can spawn there. All you have to do is interact with the glow to collect Nightstar Sand.
If the beach doesn’t contain any resources, there is no need to be concerned since this sand can spawn on almost all beaches of the southwestern island, so you will always have some other place to collect it.

To start, make a temporary base near an area where Nightstar Sand spawns. The only items required for this method are a Pal Box and a Storage Chest. Next, select a Pal who has both Transporting and Level 3 Gathering Skills. Pals like Noam are great for this since they fulfil both these criteria automatically.
This method works perfectly because Pals who have Level 3 or above Gathering Skill and Transporting Skill will double their yield from selected overworld resources, which includes Nightstar Sand.
