Although it may be hard to catch because of the low spawn rate, it can also be bred if you have difficulty catching it. How to Get Shadowbeak in Palworld 1.0
To catch the Shadowbeak in Palworld 1.0, go to the Deep Sand Dunes found at (528, 526). After that, use a flying mount and travel toward the northeast part of the map until you get to Wildlife Sanctuary Number 3. When you are in Wildlife Sanctuary Number 3, continue to look for the spawning Pals. It can be noted that the Shadowbeak is a very rare creature; therefore, finding one immediately is not expected.
How to Catch Shadowbeak in Palworld 1.0
As Shadowbeak is classified as a Dark-type Pal, it means that it is weak to attacks made by a Dragon-type Pal. Before that, it is recommended to reach Level 45 before trying to catch this Pal, as it is rather tough. You should have enough Pal Spheres, as well as several powerful Pals, to ensure a quick and effective battle with Shadowbeak. When you find it, start weakening it by lowering its health level.
When its HP is low, throw your best Pal Sphere to increase your chances of catching it. If the capture is successful, Shadowbeak will be added to your collection. It may take a few attempts, but with the right preparation, you’ll be able to catch this powerful Dark-type Pal.
Take a few Pals of the Dragon type before fighting Shadowbeak. This is because Shadowbeak is of the Dark type, and thus it becomes easy to damage this Pal using attacks of the Dragon type. Quivern, Elphidran, and Jetragon are some of the good choices to take with you.
How to Breed Shadowbeak
If you already own two Shadowbeaks, then you can also breed Shadowbeaks to obtain another Shadowbeak. Remember to add Cake in the chest of the breeding farm, as the Pals require the Cake before laying the egg.
After some time, the Pals will lay a Dark Giant Egg. Take the Dark Giant Egg to an Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch into a Shadowbeak. Finding Huge Dark Eggs in the wild also has a chance to spawn a Shadowbeak.
Shadowbeak Saddle
Once you unlock the Shadowbeak Saddle at Level 47, you can ride Shadowbeak as a flying mount and travel across the world much faster. To craft the Shadowbeak Saddle, you’ll need:

- Paldium Fragment x45
- Refined Ingot x40
- Corrosive Solvent x15
After creating the saddle and its attachment, you will have access to Shadowbeak’s flight; hence, it becomes easier to travel on the map and visit places that would be difficult to get to. Modified DNA is the Partner Skill of Shadowbeak. While riding this Pal, Dark-type moves increase in power; this allows the player to deal increased damage. It also increases Shadowbeak’s flying speed, so you can travel around the map faster and reach your destination more quickly.
