Bellanoir Libero Ultra is one of the toughest raid bosses to fight in Palworld 1.0. She has a very high HP, deals a massive amount of damage, and continuously moves about in the arena. Fighting her will be very hard compared to other raid bosses due to her characteristics and abilities. Simply bringing powerful Pals isn’t enough; you’ll also need the right equipment, a well-planned team, and good positioning throughout both phases of the battle.  In this guide, we’ll explain the best gear, Pals, and strategies to help you defeat Bellanoir Libero Ultra.

How to Beat Bellanoir Libero Ultra

Before you can fight Bellanoir Libero, you’ll first need to craft a Bellanoir Libero Slab. To do that, collect four Bellanoir Libero Slab Fragments and combine them into a single slab. You can find these fragments in high-level dungeons, where they have a chance to drop from Treasure Chests starting at Level 19. They can also appear randomly in chests found in high-level regions and the Wildlife Sanctuaries. Once you’ve crafted the slab, you can use it to summon Bellanoir Libero and begin the raid battle.

Bellanoir Libero Ultra is considered to be one of the hardest bosses to defeat in Palworld. She will always be on the move, deal out high amounts of damage, and use numerous skills that could easily destroy your entire party. Defeating her relies less on damage than on the correct use of the Pals and swapping.

Before starting the fight, make sure you’re properly equipped. The setup used for this battle includes:

  • Sylveus Emblem
  • Dogen Emblem
  • Warsect Belt
  • Attack Pendant

For the weapons, the Drone Launcher and the Plasma Rifle make a very strong combination. The Cold Resistant Ancient Armour would be very useful for you since it will help in lowering the Ice damage from the second phase, along with providing you a little attack boost. Do not forget about food buffs before the fight: applying a Defence Buff to Chillet, having some healers, and having a Revive Potion on hand.

Best Pals for Phase 1

Pal choice for this playstyle would be Chillet. Chillet with Swift, Dimensional Leap, Diamond Body, and Idiosyncratic will do nicely. With the use of Diamond Body, Chillet can withstand skills such as Dark Laser and not get stuck in the animation. The following Pals will help you:

  • Blazamut Ryu boosts your Dragon damage while riding Chillet.
  • Selyne increases your Attack by 80%.
  • Vanwyrm and Crelis Terra provide extra Headshot damage.

For the raid team, Idolen Ignis is one of the best choices. Good skills for Idolen Ignis include:

  • Blazing Beam
  • Beam Slicer
  • Comet Barrage

These attacks connect with Bellanoir Libero much more consistently than many other Dragon skills.

Phase 1 Strategy

Try to hit Bellanoir Libero in the head as often as possible to inflict additional damage from the Headshot skill. The main danger during this phase is represented by Flame Walls. This move can kill off the whole raiding party in just a couple of hits, especially if your Pals cannot resist it. Therefore, Dragon- or Dark-type Pals are very strongly advised. The boss herself often runs around the area. If you stand too far away from her, she might stop focusing on you and start attacking your Pals instead.

It is one of the important moments of this battle. You need to change your raiding party before Bellanoir transforms into Ice form. Otherwise, your new Pals will not have enough time to spread in the arena. Instead, all of them will spawn at the same point near the Pal Box.

Best Pals for Phase 2

For the second phase, a Dupen team performs extremely well. Recommended skills include:

  • Trickster Show
  • Lightning Streak
  • Fireball

Fireball is not the best move, but there aren’t many good Fire moves that will always connect with Bellanoir. Lightning Streak is another great move that gets boosted by the Eternal Flame debuffs. The Large Pals become much less useful due to the big hitboxes of Bellanoir’s Ice moves.

Phase 2 Strategy

Instead of standing near your raid team, move to the opposite side of the arena. This forces Bellanoir’s attacks to target you instead of your Pals. Several attacks are especially dangerous:

  • Absolute Frost
  • Apocalypse
  • Icicle Line
  • Blizzard Spike

These skills can kill your whole raiding team in no time if used at the wrong location. Staying far away makes it more likely that your Pals will survive as they keep fighting. Even when you position yourselves perfectly, your squad will be targeted sometimes by Flame Walls and will end up losing some health during the battle.

Bellanoir Libero (Ultra) Rewards

Beating Bellanoir Libero gives you a number of useful things that will help you advance in Palworld. Among the most helpful things, there are Ancient Civilisation Cores, which you will need for creating advanced equipment, as well as a Bellanoir Libero (Ultra) Slab, which you will use for raid battles in the future. You may get a Huge Dark Egg, which can hatch into Bellanoir Libero, as well as some stat-boosting things such as Power Fruit, Stout Fruit, and Life Fruit. Moreover, you will get a Multiclimate Undershirt +2 from this raid, which makes it one of the best raid battles to farm because of its rare loot. It is important for you to collect as many Ancient Civilisation Cores as possible, as you will need a lot of them to craft high-tier items.
