The “Solve the Statue Puzzle” quest in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is found in “The Sage’s Buried Secret” mission at a secret Mayan temple. While searching the temple along with James Kidd, you will find various statue puzzles blocking your way. These statue puzzles introduce different mechanics such as standing on colored statues, rotating massive platforms, and placing puzzle pieces in their right places. Solve the Statue Puzzle
The Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced statue puzzles are found inside the Mayan Temple for “The Sage’s Buried Secret.” As you move through the temple with James Kidd, she will cross the broken wooden bridge that breaks down right after her, and you will be left stuck on the other end of it. In order to get to her, look to your left where there are some vines that grow on the wall. Once you’re at the top, mantle across to the right to reach the opposite side and continue deeper into the temple.
First Statue Puzzle
Go to the other side by climbing the ruined wall and using the tree roots on the left-hand side until you find yourself at the statue puzzle. Begin by jumping on the red statue. The weight of Edward will make the statue come down and open the door.
The next step is to scale up the wall and land on the blue statue. It will make the second statue go down and open another door for you. After you open both doors, go through the door with James Kidd and go to the next area.
Second Statue Puzzle
When you find the second statue puzzle, remember that it is similar to the previous one but comes with an additional feature of a turntable mechanic. Start by grabbing the capstan to turn the platform so that the red area aligns below the red statue. Now, jump to the red statue and move it down. You will observe that as you lower the statue, a counterweight statue moves up, and it becomes necessary later. The moving of the statue also unlocks the way ahead to the next part. Continue with James Kidd, and you will soon come across an underwater cave part.
Third Statue Puzzle
Once you get to the temple, there will be another statue puzzle for you to solve. The mechanism of solving this puzzle is very similar to that used in the wheel puzzle; however, now you will have to shift several blocks in order to unlock a passage.
First, you need to use the lever to turn the big wheel so that the blue puzzle block gets into the upper left corner, opposite the elevated green block. Next, climb up to the stone platform near the blue block and shake it out of its place. Now turn the wheel so that the blue square tile gets under the blue block, and then step on it to put it in its right place. This unlocks the first part of the wall.
Then, turn the wheel until the red puzzle piece is at the top-left part. Similarly to the previous one, go up to the stone platform in order to knock off the puzzle piece from the green tile. Turn the wheel again in such a way that the red square tile would be under the red puzzle piece and go up on it in order to place it there. It will reveal the second part of the wall.
Finally, turn the wheel in order to get the green square tile under the lifted green puzzle piece, which is located at the upper right part. Go up on the green puzzle piece in order to put it down on its matching tile. When all three colored puzzle pieces are placed properly, the wall will completely open for you.
