If you have been looking for an answer on how to reveal the Nuur Stone Circle in Genshin Impact, you will first have to finish the world quest Origin of the Sequence and then solve a series of data node puzzles. In this guide you are going to learn about how to access the location, complete each of the puzzles, and how to claim all rewards with ease.
Unlocking the Nuur Stone Circle
The Nuur Stone Circle can only be accessed while completing the world quest Origin of the Sequence in Genshin Impact, and players can first unlock it by completing part of the Visitors From the Stars Questline until they reach a point where Ungien’s Circle is unlocked on the map; once players have completed this questline, they will have to then head in the northeastern direction and utilize an available high-speed transit route to go at the Nuur Stone Circle.
When you arrive, walk up to the enormous tower in the center of the area and interact with its terminal. This begins the Origin of the Sequence quest and takes you into the first puzzle.
Complete the First Data Node Puzzle
In the first challenge, you will control a Secret Source Dragon Idol roaming through a digital maze. The goal of this challenge is to gather every Data Fragment before you can proceed to acquire the Core Data, and to do so without colliding with damaged data nodes along the way.
Grab the first fragment that is immediately underneath you and then go to the upper-left part of the maze through the newly opened upper route.
Once you have collected the second fragment, use the route down to the lower-right part of the maze to find the Repair Function. The Repair Function allows you to attack and destroy damaged data nodes, allowing you to open up areas that were previously inaccessible.
You can use the Repair Function to remove the damaged data nodes that are protecting the other Data Fragments. You will first find one of the Data Fragments above you, and then make your way up the maze to obtain the last one. Once all of the Data Fragments have been collected, you can then travel to the center of the maze and collect the Game Play Core Data. After you collect the Game Play Core Data, the simulation will reset; this is also part of the quest.
Complete the Secret Source Dragon Idol Puzzle
The Secret Source Dragon Idol can be found behind your terminal upon leaving it. You’ll need to interact with the terminal on top of the dragon’s head to activate the second puzzle.
In the second challenge, you have a simple goal and that is to guide the dragon to the Core Data located in the center of the board while avoiding all of the broken nodes on the way. Upon reaching the objective, you will finish the challenge, start a short cutscene, and permanently unlock the Nuur Stone Circle.
Nuur Stone Circle Rewards
After completing the Origin of the Sequence quest, you will get:
- 40 Primogems
- 33,500 Mora
- 4 Hero’s Wit received
- 4 Mystic Enhancement Ore
Through completing the last puzzle of the quest, you will also gain permanent access to the Nuur Stone Circle area and you will also have access to other nearby content.
Is the Nuur Stone Circle Still Sealed?
If the barrier is still blocking your path after completing the quest, some players have reported that reaching around 90% exploration and upgrading the Wish Spot at the Nuur Stone Circle unlocks the gate and removes the seal. Others have also mentioned that one teleport waypoint may remain hidden until you make further progress.
