You need to open the sealed gate, activate the power station and use the ancient moon pearls to progress through the facility. Beneath the Lunar Sea Quest
You can start beneath the Lunar Sea by going to the area South of the Moontide Sea, near the Curtain-Form Blackbody Containment Lab. As you make your way to the meeting point, you will see a trapped Kuuhenki. Defeat the enemies and set it free. This will lead you straight to the entrance of the meeting point.
Go inside the cave and keep following the path until you reach a sealed gate. To open it, you will need to place an Ancient Moon Pearl into the nearby station. As soon as you enter the cave and walk down the stairs, you will see an Ancient Moon Pearl close to the door. Attack the pearl to push it towards the wall mechanism. Once it fits into the slot, it will power up the device and open the path ahead.
Explore the facility interior
Once you are inside the facility, keep moving forward till you reach another area with two power stations. One of them will have an Ancient Moon Pearl, so you will need to find another one to unlock the door. Start by entering the room on your left, and you will find some enemies with a trapped jellyfish. Defeat all the enemies to free the trapped jellyfish. After they are free, the jellyfish will spread out around the room. Go to the jellyfish that is floating near the stone debris and use your Archaeolune Ripples to destroy the rocks.
Interact with the container inside to make an Ancient Moon Pearl Launcher. Now look up at the ceiling, where you will see a blue barrier holding many Ancient Moon Pearls. Throw your energy at the barrier to break it and make the pearls fall to the ground.
Guide one of the pearls into the launcher and activate it to shoot the pearl forward. After that, keep hitting the pearls until it reaches the empty power station. Once both power stations are active, the door to the meeting point will open and interact with the terminal next to the tree to finish the Beneath the Lunar Sea quest.
