In Forza Horizon 6, players will have to complete a challenge called the Ghostbusters Daily Challenge where you need to beat a Rivals ghost while driving a vehicle from the 1980s. With such an easy objective, you would think players would have an easy time completing this challenge but the truth is, there is a possibility of running into trouble locating a suitable rival and event. This guide will walk you through the challenge quickly and help you accomplish it easily.
Enter a Rivals Event
To begin, go to a race event and open the Rivals Mode. The quickest way to complete this challenge is a Drag Race. If you don’t have other drag strips available (due to wristband requirements), you can run on the Horizon Festival Drag Strip if it’s unlocked. When you enter the event, select a Rivals category and click Change Rival.
Find a Rival to Beat
When choosing a competitor, you may switch the leaderboards filter to show players from your Friends List to search for available times. If none are found, try the Hardcore leaderboard, which tends to have a smaller number of competitors.
Once you have determined an opponent, either select their time or go through the vehicle selection process.
Choose a Car From the 1980s
Ensure your vehicle meets the criteria and is a car made in the 1980s before starting the event. You can find cars made in the 1980s by selecting the sort by year option in the car selection menu.
Before picking a Rivals class, you should also check out what class your cars are before you start.
Complete the Run
Start the event and finish the race. If you selected a very slow rival time, simply completing the run may be enough to beat them.
You also have the option to complete the action without doing a Drag Race. Choose a flagged rival from your Friends List or the leaderboard. You will then have to race against him in one of the Rivals events, such as the Shimanoyama Circuit, using a 1980s vehicle.
Beat a Flagged Rival
When racing against a flagged rival, you do not always need to post a faster lap time. If the rival has crashed or gets penalized during their run and you complete your run without crashing, you should still be able to beat their ghost even if your time is longer at the end.
After you have beaten the competing ghost with a car made in the 1980s, the Ghostbusters Daily Challenge will be complete and you may claim your prize.
