Orc Hammer is a very strong item that can be discovered after solving a secret puzzle in the game Gothic 1 Remake. However, finding the chest will not be an easy task, as it is placed in a very dangerous place where there are several Bloodhounds. The player will have to get to an abandoned forge located near the Mountain Fortress Bridge. This guide will tell you about the chest location, the puzzle solution, and the rewards.
How to Get the Orc Hammer
There is also the chest with the Orc Hammer in an abandoned forge next to the bridge connecting you to the Mountain Fortress. It is very strongly guarded by Bloodhounds, so expect a hard battle getting to this location.
If you are not of sufficient level or have difficulty handling many enemies at once, it might be a good idea to return later. These Bloodhounds can easily crush you should you not be powerful enough, preventing you from safely reaching the chest. To solve the riddle, shift the plates in this order:
- Start by sliding the 4th Plate 3 spaces to the left.
- Slide the 1st Plate 4 spaces to the right.
- Then slide the 2nd Plate 6 spaces to the right.
- Slip the 4th Plate 2 more spaces to the left.
- Again, slide the 1st Plate 4 spaces to the right.
- Slide the 3rd Plate 4 spaces to the left.
- Then slide the 4th Plate 2 spaces to the left.
- Move the 5th Plate 4 spaces to the right.
- Slide the 1st Plate 6 spaces to the right.
- Next, slide the 4th Plate 6 spaces to the left.
- Slide the 2nd Plate 3 spaces to the right.
- Slide the 1st Plate 3 spaces to the right.
- Finally, slide the 3rd Plate 3 spaces to the left.
Press D-Pad Left for movement to the left and press D-Pad Right for movement to the right. The Orc Hammer is one of the rewards you will get once you open the chest. There are two other rewards: the Elixir of Magic Energy and the Fireball Scroll.
