All Photography Locations in Forza Horizon 6

The Discover Japan journal in Forza Horizon 6 features 26 photography challenges spread across murals, landmarks, monuments, and seasonal collectibles. Tracking down every location can be time-consuming, especially for the event-specific objectives. This guide covers all photography challenge locations, including regular landmarks and seasonal EventLab alternatives.

Other Photography Challenges Locations

Wakana Yamazaki Mural

The Wakana Yamazaki mural can be found on the southern road in Narai-Juku, which is located in the Shimanoyama region. Once you reach the marked location, keep an eye on your left to find the structure with the purple mural. 

Kenji Iwasaki Mural

This mural can be found in the northern part of the Sotoyama region. Once you’ve gone to the marked location, you’ll find the mural on a small building’s wall with a red roof.

Dragon 76 Mural

This mural can be found in the Minamino region. Go to the marked location, and you’ll reach a village named Shirakawa-Go. Continue on the main road until you find a white building on the right side, which has the Dragon 76 mural on its wall.

Naoshi Mural

To get the Naoshi mural, you’ll need to go to the Ohtani region. There, you’ll find a white building behind the radio towers with the colorful mural on its wall. 

Lady Aiko Mural

The Lady Aiko mural is in northwest Tokyo City on the front wall of a building. You can use the baseball field that’s north of the Tokyo City Food Delivery job as a reference, then follow the road toward the field to find the building with the mural on your left side. 

Tatsuro Kiuchi Mural

To find the Tatsuro Kiuchi mural, you’ll need to go to the Ito region’s Airfield first. There, you’ll find the mural on the back wall of a building with a fence on its right side. 

Okuyama Taiki Mural

To locate the Okuyama Taiki mural, you have to go to the Hokubu region. Once you’re at the marked location, follow the main road through the small town until you come to the building with the mural on its wall. 

Kazuhisa Uragami Mural

The Kazuhisa Uragami mural can be found in the Nangan region’s Irokawa Space Center. Once you’re at the marked location, go towards the hanger, and you’ll find the mural on its wall.

Chaser Zero

The Chaser Zero is a huge robot you’ll find near the Horizon Festival site. Go to the marked location and look around the festival to find the huge robot.

Daikoku Monument

To find the Daikoku Monument, you’ll need to head to the Daikoku parking area, which can be found on an island near Tokyo City. Go to the marked location, and you’ll find the shiny monument near the highway on the left side. 

Hirosaki Castle

The Hirosaki Castle can be located in the Takashiro region of the map. Go to the marked location, and you’ll find yourself on the main road. Go left from there, and you’ll come across a plot where the Hirosaki Castle is.

Kinkaku-Ji

To find the Kinkaku-Ji temple, you’ll need to go to the Ohtani region. Once you’re at the marked location, you’ll find an area surrounded by greenery with the Kinkaku-Ji temple in the middle.

Kitayama Big Daisugi

To find the exact location of the Kitayama Big Daisugi, you’ll need to head over to the Ito region. After you’ve reached the marked location, follow the trail northeast of the Airfield, and you’ll find a fence beyond which the Kitayama Big Daisugi tree can be found.

Peace Torii

To find this one, you’ll need to go to the coast in the Shimanoyama region. Once you’re at the marked location, drive through the coast and keep looking out in the water to find the Peace Torii. 

Ruriko-Ji Temple

The Ruriko-ji temple can be found in the Minamino region of the map. After you’ve reached the marked location, travel through the southern road, and you’ll find the temple along with a pagoda on its right.

Shirakawa Island Farmhouse

To find and photograph the Shirakawa Island Farmhouse, you’ll need to go to the Minamino region of the map. The path is fairly simple. After reaching the marked location, you’ll just need to follow the trail until you come across the farmhouse located on your left side. 

Sotoyama Ski Resort

To find the Sotoyama Ski Resort in the game, you’ll need to go to the Sotoyama region. Once there, you’ll find that there are two huge buildings in close proximity. What you’ll need to do is click a picture of both buildings to complete this part of the challenge. 

Statue Of Hachiko

The Statue of Hachiko can be found in Tokyo City. Head to the large grassy area in the northern part of the city, follow the southwestern exit to the nearby intersection, and look to the left to find the statue.

Temple Of Nachi Falls

To find the Temple of Nachi Falls, you’ll need to go to the western part of the Takashiro region. There, you’ll find a circular road, and in the middle of that road, you’ll find the temple with greenery surrounding it. 

HZN-VI Rocket

To find and photograph the HZN-VI Rocket, you’ll need to go to the Nangan region. Once you’re at the marked location, you’ll find the rocket on the launch pad.

Tokyo Tower

To find the Tokyo Tower, you’ll have to go to the midwestern part of Tokyo City. The tower is super easy to spot because of its size, so once you’re at the correct location, you should be able to find it easily.

EventLab Challenge Locations

There is a specific row of challenges that requires certain seasons or times of day. These can be completed through EventLab challenges using share codes.

To access them:

• Open the Creative Hub.
• Go to EventLab.
• Select Play Challenges.
• Search for the challenge you need or enter the corresponding share code.

Kite

Apart from using the EventLab challenge, Kites can also be photographed in the Shimanoyama region during summer at two locations: northeast of Horizon Stadium and in Narai-juku. 

Koinobori Fish Flags

Apart from the EventLab challenge, the Koinobori fish flags also appear during spring at Mei’s House in Ohtani, Tokyo Tower, Narai-juku, and a coastal town in northern Ito.

Sky Lanterns

Apart from the EventLab challenge, the Sky lanterns can be found northeast of Horizon Stadium during autumn. 

Water Lanterns

Apart from the EventLab challenge, the Water lanterns can be found during summer at the Peace Torii in Shimanoyama and near a bridge in the northeastern part of Minamino. 

Tanabata Streamers 

Apart from the EventLab challenge, the Tanabata streamers can be found during summer in three locations: a small town above the Hokubu maze, outside Mei’s House in Ohtani, and near the Tokyo Central Railway Station Cut Through.
