The Advanced Battery is a useful upgrade in Subnautica 2 that provides much more power than a standard battery. It allows your tools and equipment to run for longer, which is very useful when exploring dangerous areas far from your base. To get it, you first need to locate and scan two Advanced Battery fragments. Once the blueprint is unlocked, you can craft the battery using a few advanced materials at the Fabricator. In this guide, we will tell you how to get an Advanced Battery in Subnautica 2.

How to Get an Advanced Battery

To unlock it, you need to find two Advanced Battery pieces. Start your journey from the Main Alien Ruins Camp. From the camp, open your compass and head east-southeast (110°).

Swim in this direction for about 700 metres. You should see an alien structure to your left side. It proves that you are moving in the correct direction. Follow the right side of this structure and move ahead. Then, when you pass underneath the alien structure, keep swimming until you come across a big crashed spaceship.

The first piece of the Advanced Battery can be found in this sector amongst the debris. You can find the first fragment of the Advanced Battery using the Scanner. After you’ve scanned the first piece, go below the downed ship. The second fragment of the Advanced Battery can also be found there. Scan this fragment too.

To build an Advanced Battery, you will need to gather the following materials: one Conduit Crystal, one Strong Acid, and one Silver Ingot. When you collect all the items, you can use the Fabricator to craft one. The Advanced Battery is a powerful upgrade over the standard battery, providing significantly more energy for your tools and equipment.
