Corn is one of the resources in Windrose that becomes important as you progress through the game. You’ll need it for cooking, to increase your health, and even for crafting useful items. How To Find Corn
If one wants to find corn you will have to travel to the Foothills islands. It should be noted that this part of the island can be unlocked only after completing the Coastal Jungle area and defeating the area boss. After arriving at the Foothills, you need to look for some farming areas where they can find some corn.
It should be noted that not all the farming areas will have some corn, so you may have to explore several areas in order to find some corn. One possible option is to look for them close to the Ancient Village. If you open your map, you’ll sometimes see a “resources” section for certain areas, and corn will be listed there if it’s available.
If you don’t feel like searching for corn, you can also just buy it from a food merchant. They usually sell it in stacks of 30, and it costs about 25 Piastre. So if you’re short on time or just want a quick supply, visiting a food merchant is an easy alternative.
How To Use Corn
Corn is one of the many useful foods that you will get in the game. It has many uses. You can prepare corn flour from it, you can roast it, you can boil it, pickle it, bake it or add it to recipes. Also, eating corn will give you an additional health boost, which lasts for around 7 minutes.
On top of that, corn is used in crafting as well. You’ll need it to make things like the Basic Composter (you’ll need 5 corn) and Cornmeal (which uses 2 corn). So it’s definitely worth collecting whenever you find it.
