Getting the Anvil in Windrose is important if you want to unlock better upgrades and improve your crafting stations. It might seem a bit confusing at first, but once you know what to do, it’s simple. You’ll need to progress a bit in the game, gather the right materials, and set up a few crafting stations along the way. In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get your Anvil.
How to Get Anvil

You will be able to craft the Anvil only after getting to Tier 3, then having your own Workbench. The Anvil can be made using a Level 2 Workbench. As soon as you upgrade the workbench, you will have to acquire all the necessary materials to craft this tool. Thirty Foothills Iron Ingots are required to make one Anvil. Then go to the Workbench and craft the Anvil at it.
The Anvil is used for upgrading both the Weaponsmith Workshop and the Shipwright’s Workshop. Do not forget that it functions only within the range of a Bonfire. So you should place this item close to these stations. When placed near these stations, the Anvil helps boost their tier, allowing you to unlock better upgrades and crafting options.
How to Craft an Iron Ingot

Next, you’ll need to build two key structures: a Smelting Furnace (15 Clay, 30 Stone) and a Charcoal Kiln (25 Wood, 20 Clay). Start by making charcoal. Just place some Hardwood into the Charcoal Kiln and let it process. Once you’ve got charcoal ready, head over to the Smelting Furnace. To craft an Iron Ingot, add 3 Foothills Iron Ore and 1 Charcoal. After about 30 seconds, you’ll get your Iron Ingot. Iron is found in the Foothills, but it will be in mines there. As long as you know where iron occurs naturally in this area, you should be able to find it easily.
