Shrubs in Windrose are one of the easiest and most reliable ways to keep your base stocked with basic materials. They don’t require any setup, and once you get started, they can provide a good supply of resources. By planting and harvesting them regularly, you can build up important materials like Plant Fibre. The best part is that shrubs can keep regenerating your resources, making them perfect for long-term use. In this guide, we will tell you how to get shrub seeds, grow them, and use them.
How to Get Shrub

In order to collect seeds of the shrubs, you need to look for them on the islands among the wild plants. There are currently no vendors selling shrub seeds in the game, and therefore, harvesting wild plants will be the only way to get your hands on them. Every time you collect from a bush or plant, there’s a random chance it will drop a seed. After collecting enough seeds, all you need to do is open their build menu, access their farming tab, and plant a shrub wherever you like.
When you harvest a Shrub Sapling, it always gives you a small but useful return. Every time, you’ll get 1 Shrub Seed, which lets you plant it again and keep the cycle going. On top of that, you’ll also receive 1 Plant Fibre, so you’re gaining a basic resource along with your seed.
How to Use Shrub
Because both drops are guaranteed, shrubs become an excellent resource for increasing the Plant Fibre resource while still providing seeds for further planting.
When you have collected enough Plant Fibre, go back to your Workbench and select the crafting tab. Using the Plant Fibre in the crafting section will get Coarse Fabric, among other resources. This is a straightforward method of using Plant Fibre, and it will be one of your first steps towards crafting valuable resources.
