It’s a missable trophy associated with the Larry Pinkstock bounty (which is an early part of the game). To ensure you have obtained the trophy during the boss fight and don’t end up losing any progress in the game, follow the steps outlined below.
When the Achievement Becomes Available
You can get the “Witness the Burning Bush” Achievement early in High on Life 2. This Trophy is missable because it is tied to the game’s main storyline, and must be done during the Larry Pinkstock bounty. If you aren’t aware of this, it could easily be skipped.
At the end of the Larry Pinkstock Bounty, you will fight Kreg. During the battle, keep dodging and damaging him until he is knocked off his mount. Once Kreg is forced into ground combat, the opportunity to unlock the achievement becomes available. This moment does not last long, so it is important not to rush the end of the fight.
How to Unlock Witness the Burning Bush
After Kreg is on the ground, look around the arena for a turtle. Pick it up using the left bumper, then use the turtle on Kreg and deal a small amount of damage. Once this is done, the Witness the Burning Bush achievement or trophy will unlock.
If you defeat Kreg without using the turtle, the game will autosave after the fight and you will be locked out of the achievement for that playthrough. Take your time during the ground combat phase and make sure to use the turtle before finishing the boss fight.
