Helping Hand is an easy quest in Of Ash and Steel. It primarily focuses on simple objectives and light combat. This guide will provide you with all the information about how to begin the quest, helping Mira’s sons, solving their individual problems, and finding the flour for completion.

Starting the Quest

To get the Helping Hand quest, you’ll have to go to the City Gates first. Keep going straight, and then turn right. You’ll eventually come across an area with a big house and a couple of people roaming around it. You’ll find Mira sitting on a bench in front of the house, and talking to her will initiate the quest. What you’ll need to do is deliver the food she gives you to his sons.

Delivering the Food & Solving the Problems

You won’t have to go to another place to deliver the food to her sons because you’ll find them right in front of the house. Start by talking to Carson and giving him the food; next, talk to Cy, and he’ll tell you that he doesn’t want it because he has a problem.

Now, to solve Cy’s problem, you’ll need to walk backwards and towards the main road, where you’ll find a character named Mustard. Interact with him and then return to Cy, this will solve his problem.

Next, interact with the head of the house, Grimbar, and you’ll see that he starts talking about how a “tailed thing is crawling around,” which is actually a Ratwalker hiding behind the bushes. Go left, and you’ll come across the Ratwalker, whom you’ll need to defeat to solve Grimbar’s problem.

Getting Flour for Mira

Once everyone’s problems are dealt with, you’ll need to get flour for Mira. For this, start from the location where you found Mustard and keep to your left until you come across the mill. You’ll find a bag with flour inside it right in front of the mill’s gate, and another bag can be found inside the mill.

Head back to Mira and hand her the flour to complete the quest. She’ll tell you that she doesn’t have any more food left, so you’ll receive experience gold as a reward for completing the quest.
