The Dellamorte Estates are located at the northern edge of the city, featuring a garden filled with statues and a note suggesting a clever game. In the garden, you’ll see various statues: some can be turned, while others have levers at their base but are too high to climb. In this article we will discuss on how to Solve the Dellamorte Estates Puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Dellamorte Estates Puzzle Location in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
To reach Dellamorte Estates, your first step is to collect the companion Lucanis. Your initial journey to Treviso is straightforward, and you won’t be able to explore it fully until you finish the “Sea of Blood” quest. Once Treviso is open for exploration, take the zipline east from the Crows hideout. After that, climb down the trellis ladder and cross the bridge ahead. Head east through the alley until you find a beacon. Cross another bridge and continue east until you hit a gravel road lined with trees. Turn north and follow the path until you arrive at the Dellamorte Estates courtyard.
How to Solve the Dellamorte Estates Puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
This puzzle relies on Spite’s Reach, Lucanis’ special ability outside of combat. You don’t need him in your active party, but you do have to recruit him first. Fortunately, you can’t access this puzzle until he’s on your team. The objective here is to open a gate on the north side of the courtyard. To do that, you need to adjust four movable statues to face the correct directions. Look for veil instabilities next to each statue, and use Spite’s Reach on them. This will cause four Fade statues that will point in specific directions. Once the real statues are aligned to match the directions of the Fade statues, the gate will open.
Following are the location of the statues:
1. First one is in the west, next to the canal.
2. Second one is in the northwest corner, right by the gate.
3. Third is in the northeast corner, up some stairs.
4. The last one is on the east wall, behind a second gate.
To open that second gate, you’ll need to pull three levers located on platforms behind three winged statues in the center of the courtyard. Use Spite’s Reach to summon statue hands to climb up to the levers. You can jump to reach the two lower levers, but the one on the east platform is too high to reach that way. Once you have all four statues pointing in the correct directions, the north gate will open, allowing you to collect resources and treasure, including a unique item in the large chest. Along with the standard loot you’ll also find a chest containing Jenny’s Belt, a special grenade belt that inflicts the Bees! status effect on nearby enemies when you heal.
