How to Get the Ray Gun in Black Ops 6 (BO6)
There are three main ways to get a Ray Gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. You can either try your luck with the Mystery Box, use legendary Gobblegums to reroll the Mystery Box and guarantee a Wonder Weapon, or use Loot Keys to open Armory lockers in hopes of finding one.
1. Mystery Box
The first method is through the Mystery Box in Terminus and Liberty Falls, where players can spend 950 Essence to get a random weapon, it completely depends on your luck. As the Mystery Boxes offer random weapons, so you might need to spend quite a bit before you finally get the Ray Gun. Since the selection is completely random, players might end up spending thousands of Essence just to get the Ray Gun if luck isn’t on their side.
2. Gobblegums
This is probably the least reliable way to get a Ray Gun in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Gobblegums provide players with temporary perks to help tackle the undead. For example, Immolation Liquidation triggers a Fire Sale, dropping the Mystery Box’s cost to just ten Essence. Respin Cycle allows you to spin the Mystery Box again, while Wonderbar! guarantees that a Wonder Weapon will show up in the next spin.
3. Loot Keys
The third and final way is the loot keys. In Terminus and Liberty Falls, elite enemies like Manglers can drop Loot Keys when defeated. Once you have a key, you’ll need to find the Armory in Terminus or the Vault in Liberty Falls to access the Safety Deposit Boxes inside. Like the Mystery Box, the rewards from these deposit boxes are random. Along with the Ray Gun, you might also find Salvage or other upgrades that can be really helpful as you try to progress to higher rounds.
