Dark and Darker is an amazing PvE and PvP extraction game that has led to the emergence of several look-alikes. Ever since the launch of the game, it has enjoyed a massive popularity, which is made better by introduction of patches to raise the experience of players. However, to release a patch, the servers need to be taken down. When that happens, it can lead to errors for users trying to play the game. Are the Dark and Darker Servers Down?
Update 16 August, 2024: Patch #60 is being deployed on August 16 at 3:45 AM PDT. The servers will be down for two hours and will come back online at 05:45 PDT.
Update 4 August, 2024: A serious issue has been discovered and we are going into emergency maintenance. After investigation, if necessary, item data may be rolled back to right after Hotfix #58 patch. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Update 5 July 2024: Dark and Darker servers are down for maintenance and rollout of Hotfix 55 on 5th July at 1:30 AM PST and 9:30 AM BST. The servers will remain down for 2 hours.
How to Check Dark and Darker Server Status
Being a new game, there aren’t many ways to verify the status of the Dark and Darker servers. You can visit the game’s Discord to check the current status of the servers. Besides that, you can follow our X handle where to track and share server status on a regular basis. You can also go to Reddit and see if other players are reporting the same issues. If too many people report the same problem, it’s usually the servers that are to blame.
