Gray Zone Warfare is an engaging FPS where you have to unravel the mysterious events transpiring within a Southeast Asian Island. When you first start playing the game, you have to pick a faction that you can join. However, if you have friends joining the game at a later time and choosing a different faction than yours, you would be tempted to join them. In this guide we will see if you can change factions in Gray Zone Warfare.
Can you Change Faction in Gray Zone Warfare
You do get a warning while trying to pick your faction for the first time. Here we will see if you can change factions in Gray Zone Warfare
If you wish to change your faction, the sad part is that you cannot. It is mentioned while picking your faction that you will be stuck with it for the rest of the game. There is a way to look forward to changing your faction, and that is during a wipe. A wipe will happen every six months, where your character will be reset. That is the only time you can actually re-pick your faction and stick with it.
The second way you can change factions is by having a new account. For this, create a new Steam account or log into another existing Steam account that isn’t used for Gray Zone Warfare. Use the Steam Family Share option from your main account to your new account. Launch the game and you can start afresh with a new character. The only thing that doesn’t carry over are DLC items if you have any.
Besides this, you should be careful next time while trying to pick a faction. If you are planning on teaming up with friends, you should collaborate together to join the same faction instead of picking a wrong one
