The quickest way you can farm plague ichor is by defeating bosses. You will encounter bosses at the end of every main quest, so you don’t have to wait for them to appear. Plague Ichor is a guaranteed drop from bosses, but if you don’t want to go around and find all of them, there is another way to farm plague ichor. With your current character level, create new realms and complete the first quest till you reach the first boss of the game. Defeat it, then rinse and repeat with a new realm.
Plague Ichor can be used to upgrade inventory slots as well. Each upgrade requires one Plague Ichor, and there are 8 inventory slots that you can upgrade to increase capacity by 5 extra slots
