You can get the sewer lever key after you have unlocked the door leading to the Water Channel within The Black Trench dungeon. If you don’t have the key for the Water Channel yet, you can find it after either defeating elite enemies and get it as a drop or inside a chest. You can explore the passages a bit further to the water channel door to locate the key. Once you gain entrance within the water channel, go straight and pull the lever, then quickly go to the right side and step on the platform. Once the platform goes up, go straight and turn left and jump down to find another entryway. Reach the end of the passage and jump down to the left.
Follow this path and go up the stairs, keep following the path to the left side and cross the narrow path. You will find a glowing blue orb a bit ahead, investigate it to get the sewer lever handle key.
