In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will come across various locations to explore while on your journey. Sometimes you will come across abandoned settlements, and you might have an inkling to explore the houses within. But most of these houses will be locked from the inside, making it impossible to get in. One of the settlements you will reach is Marshland Settlement, and the houses here are also locked. Once you reach the above location, you will find one of the houses is locked from the inside. Before you start investigating it, you should clear the area of all enemies so you can have some peace to check out the house. There are bandits around the area that you need to take care of, so try to clear them out. Once the area is safe, investigate all the other houses in the area. You can find rare loot inside most of them, and you will find a house that is locked on the east side of the settlement. 

To unlock this house, go to the back of the house to find an open window. You have to position yourself in a way that you can spot the door from the inside. Now equip any ranged weapon and shoot the wooden board at the middle of the door. Once the wooden board breaks, you can run and unlock the door from the main entrance. Explore the entire house to find loot, and don’t forget to check out the basement by taking the ladder beside the door. You will spot more loot there as well.
