Alone in the Dark is a new survival horror video game released by Pieces Interactive and published by THQ Nordic. It’s a fresh take on the classic 1992 Alone in the Dark game, serving as the seventh in the series. You’ll dive into a spooky single-player adventure set in the 1930s, with the option to play as either Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood. Together, you’ll explore the eerie Derceto Mansion and unravel its many secrets.
As you explore the spooky Derceto Manor in Alone in the Dark, you’ll come across memories that hold clues to finding Jeremy. But here’s the catch – you’ll need specific codes to unlock these hidden areas. To get these codes, you’ll have to tackle some tricky puzzles in the game. The Astronomical Clock puzzle is just one of the examples. Let’s see in this guide how to solve Alone in the Dark Astronomical Clock Puzzle.
Alone in the Dark Astronomical Clock Location
You can find the Alone in the Dark Astronomical Clock in the Gallery on the second floor. Look out for it next to the spooky statues. When you inspect the clock, it will open up, revealing a plate with two missing pieces. To crack this puzzle, you’ll need to hunt down those missing plates.
Following are the locations of the two missing plates:
- You’ll find the first Broken Plate in the drawer in Perosi’s Room. Just swing by the Clerk’s Office to pick up Room Key #6, then head on over to Perosi’s Room to solve the puzzle. Once you crack the code, you can find that first Broken Plate.
- To get the second plate, start by unlocking the Library. When you’re in the same room as the Shotgun, be prepared for black water to start filling up the space once you try to leave. Quickly pick up the Bolt Cutter in the corner and use it to unlock the door.
Head over to the Kitchen Garden and use the Bolt Cutter to open the locked shack. Grab the water hose from inside and make your way to the corner with the hole in the ground. Connect the hose to the garden hose and follow it back to the faucet. Turn on the faucet and head back to the hole. You’ll then be able to retrieve the second piece of the Broken Plate from the bucket there.
After you collect both the missing pieces, head on back to the Astronomical Clock and arrange those missing parts.
