To unlock classes, you need to up your player rank by collecting XP. You can earn XP each time you clear or fail a level, but the amount of XP will vary depending on your victory or losses. As you accumulate enough XP, you can unlock new classes. Once you have a class unlocked, you can also unlock its Class Mods. There are class specialities that is available per class. The more you keep upgrading your class, the more mods you can unlock. For each mod, you can get bonus attributes and new starting weapons. You can unlock Class Mods in the Milestone menu, under the “Classes” tab.
