To collect Sulfur, there are a few places you can check in the overworld. The earliest you can get Sulfur is in Windswept Island, from is in an underground dungeon located east of Rayne Syndicate Tower. If you head inside the dungeon, you will find moss covered rocks that you can mind and collect Sulfur. The next place you can investigate is north of Island Hopper Coast Fast Travel Point. There is another island across the sea where you can find Sulfur rocks on the grass
If these don’t suffice, you can always explore the desert region where you can find special Pals like Anubis here. Not only will you spot Sulfur, but you can also find Coal. Coal is another component required for ammo and gunpowder, so you can hit two birds with one stone. Some other places you can check for Sulfur is west from Cinnamoth Forest fast travel point and northwest of Investigator’s Fork.
