Nightmare Cloud Puzzle
In these puzzles, you’ll become Lottie Lost, a magical character who can use her special book to clean up spooky ‘Nightmare Clouds’ clinging to certain items. These clouds are filled with bad energy, and Lottie’s book can suck them up and purify them. Once you clear the clouds, you’ll be rewarded with treasure chests! These chests can contain valuable items like Astrites (used for upgrades) and materials to help your characters grow stronger.
How To Turn into Lottie Lost
To become Lottie Lost, get close to a group of Nightmare Clouds. Sometimes you might need to adjust your position a bit before the game realizes you want to transform. Once you see the Lottie Lost icon appear in your Utility Tool slot (the same spot you use for your Grappling Hook), simply press the Utility Tool button to transform!
Lottie Lost gets stronger when she reads from her ‘Finished Book.’ This powers up her magic, making her much better at sucking up Nightmare Clouds! When you’re powered up, hold down the Enhanced Absorption button to quickly clear away all the Nightmare Clouds around you. But be careful! This power only lasts for a short time. To use it again, simply read from the Finished Book once more.
How to Solve the Nightmare Cloud Puzzle
As Lottie Lost, hold down your attack button to aim her magic book. While holding down the button, point the book at the Nightmare Clouds to purify them.
There are three types of Nightmare Clouds, each requiring a different approach to purify them:
- Regular Clouds: These are the most common type and can be purified easily with Lottie Lost’s magic book.
- Sequential Clouds: These clouds appear in clusters, and you need to purify them in a specific order. Look for the number of orbs in each cluster to determine the correct purification sequence.
- Self-Multiplying Clouds: These tricky clouds grow and multiply quickly. To purify them, you’ll need to use Lottie Lost’s special “Advanced Absorption” ability to clear them all at once.
To purify Self-Multiplying Clouds, you’ll need to use a special power called ‘Advanced Absorption.’ This power is usually assigned to your Resonance Skill button when you’re transformed into Lottie Lost. To use Advanced Absorption, you’ll need to find and collect a small, golden orb nearby. Once you have the orb, you can use the power to quickly purify the multiplying clouds.
