There are a few gates and doors in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers that are locked at first, and the players have to get special keys in order to unlock them. Most of the time, these locked doors are tied to main story progression areas, but there are also cases where you’ll come across a door that leads to a small optional area containing useful items, weapons, or even a full armor set that would otherwise be inaccessible. Here is how to open the Courtyard door located near Shu Sanctum in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Where to Find the Courtyard Key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers

Approach one of the doors near Shu Sanctum, and you will find that it is locked and will require the use of the Courtyard Key to be opened. Head down the path nearby, and you will find yourself at a fork. Do not head forward; instead, head left, and turn right immediately thereafter. The way leads to the Bamboo Courtyard, and there you can hear the loud banging noises of the enemies knocking on numerous doors around the area. Kill the numerous soulslike enemies that fill the location, then go near the doors to speak with the NPCs in the houses.

Behind one of the doors is a child who tells you that his parents are missing—his father left looking for his mother and little brother. The child will ask for your help and give you the Courtyard Key.

What Is Inside the Courtyard Door in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?

Take the key back to the area near the Fire Dancer and unlock the door. Be sure to eliminate any enemies in the area, including the one with a rifle stationed above. Once inside, you’ll find the Militia armor set on one of the bodies. Head into the room to also find a Damaged Letter and a Red Mercury Shoot.

Red Mercury Shots contain 400 Red Mercury, which is very convenient when leveling up or purchasing skill points.
