In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Cloudspire is the second large area after the Tang Emperor Palace. Unlike the warmer and linear locations that came before, Cloudspire surrounds players with a cold, icy expanse of hidden mines, polluted soldiers, and strong foes. With complex designs and environmental hazards, traveling in this area becomes even more perilous.

To progress, the players must battle and defeat four key bosses, each with unique challenges that include deadly attacks and toxic status conditions. The guide below shows you each location of the bosses within the Cloudspire area and how to get to them in an effective way.

General of the North – Ai Nengqi

The first boss encountered in Cloudspire is General of the North, Ai Nengqi. Begin at the Hillswatch Shrine and take the left-hand set of stairs—avoiding the path which leads to Mt. Zhenwu, shut off at present. Take the right path through the village past a number of houses, taking no heed of the left side path unless you wish to go down the side quest of the Hillswatch’s Female Servant. Go straight on until you reach the Snowy Passage shrine, which is where you can level up ahead of the tougher foes.

From Snowy Passage, follow the left-hand route and pass through the wooden gate into Cloudspire Outskirts. Here, take the uphill path, then turn left near the two dogs. You’ll come across a chaotic scene where rebels are fighting off feathered monsters. Clear the area, proceed up the stairs, and navigate through the open doorway on your right where another enemy-spawning square mechanism lies. On the far side, you’ll find the Cloudspire Outskirts shrine.

To reach Ai Nengqi, retreat from the shrine, go through the wooden door once more, and turn right to ascend the slope. Go into the house on the left, climb the ladder, and skirt around the enemies in the courtyard managed by another square spawning device. On your left is a path that leads you to the Rebel Camp. Kill the cannon-showing enemies and locate the ladder at the front, which goes up to the Rebel Camp shrine. After activating the shrine, kill the enemy who has the key outside and then utilize the Rebel Camp Key to unlock the wooden gate found at the bottom. This will reveal the battle against boss Ai Nengqi.

Ming General – Liu Cheng’en

Ai Nengqi defeated, the next boss is Ming General Liu Cheng’en. From there, head back to the Cloudspire Outskirts section. Instead of turning right there to access the Rebel Camp, proceed straight through the open door on the opposite side. Head down the hill, turn left at the junction, and turn right immediately after you pass the cannon trap. This route provides a handy shortcut to the shrine of the Outskirts that will prove to be important in the event you lose during the coming battle.

Return up and head straight along the wooden bridge. The arena at the other end is where you’ll be battling Liu Cheng’en, who is one very powerful fighter able to perform rapid and ruthless combos.

Mistress of the Night – Huang Yan

The third boss of Cloudspire, Mistress of the Night Huang Yan, lurks deeper within the region beyond the Snowpeak Pass. Begin from the Snowpeak Pass shrine and move straight ahead. Upon reaching a corrupted spawn block, ignore the enemies and take the door on the left. This leads through a network of buildings and staircases. Eventually, you’ll reach Cloudspire City, where another shrine awaits.

Walk through a doorway located near by and walk up the stairs to access the second building. Go left out on the other side and follow the path until you reach a ladder. Walk up the ladder and then go on past a second ladder—do not walk up the second. Go directly into a cavern instead.

Inside the cavern, you’ll reach a fork. Take the left path, where another ladder leads into a house. Ascend, exit the house, and drop down the nearby ladder for a convenient shortcut. After fighting through the enemies ahead, continue into another building just after the flute-playing foe. Climb up and out onto the rooftops, then ascend again via a ladder on the left to reach higher platforms.

Carefully drop down to the wooden boardwalk and go into the building on the right—be careful of the ambush that will attempt to knock you off. Inside, drop down several floors until you see the stairs going up. Follow them to reach the Snowfall Palace shrine. Go down the path to the right, go through the door, and drop down by elevator to reach the boss arena. Prepare beforehand because Huang Yan has excellent magic attacks that can evoke Despair instantly.

Chimera – Fang Ling

The final boss of Cloudspire is the Chimera Fang Ling. Defeat Huang Yan, then board the elevator and descend into the Lost Shaft. At the bottom of the shaft, activate the shrine and proceed forward, turning left to avoid the Pendulum Hammers that swing back and forth. A dangerous jailor enemy guards this level—attempt to kill them without suffering from their poise-breaking actions.

Wait for two boulders to drop down before proceeding. Follow the second one and descend into the pit, where you’ll find a treasure chest containing a Manna Vase upgrade. Open the door ahead and make a note of the path that exits to your right—this leads to more traps and ultimately to the second shrine of the Shaft area.

Step back a little and follow the path the jailor took. Fight your way through more foes and continue until you reach a bridge. As you approach to cross it, take a glance to the right and activate the elevator leading to the Shaft Entrance shrine. This creates a valuable shortcut in the event the battle does not work out as expected. Cross the bridge when you are ready to engage in the final battle against Fang Ling, the Chimera.
