One of the best parts of Where Winds Meet is how fully it leans into wuxia spectacle – bounding across rooftops, bending the rules of physics, unleashing martial arts techniques that sit somewhere between ancient philosophy and pure chaos. Lion’s Roar fits right into that sweet spot. Bells are usually calming, but here you summon one out of thin air and blast enemies with a shockwave that rattles their Qi to dust.

If you used the bell during the tutorial and wondered where it went, here’s how to get it back.

How to Get Lion’s Roar

You actually start the game with Lion’s Roar during the tutorial, but once your custom character takes over, the skill disappears. In order to reclaim it, you’ll have to ring four large copper bells scattered around Qinghe. Hit all four, and the game will automatically unlock the Lion’s Roar Mystic Skill for you.

Just ring the bells-no quests, no NPCs, no additional steps.

Copper Bell Locations All (Qinghe)

These bells are huge and sit inside wooden frames, making them quite noticeable from a distance. Two of them are near the General’s Shrine, and the other two are farther out in opposite ends of Qinghe.

Bell of Copper 1 — Sundara Land, far northeast

The northernmost bell resides on a hill in the eastern region of Sundara Land. Head along the path toward the ridge, and you’ll find it sitting all alone at the top.

Copper Bell 2 — General’s Shrine (West Side)

This one is within the grounds of the General’s Shrine, along the west side of the island. It’s directly opposite the man practicing leaps with a frog.

Tip: Speak with the man after ringing the bell—you’ll trigger a Skill Theft on the frog and unlock the Leaping Frog Mystic Skill.

Copper Bell 3 — General’s Shrine (South of the Grounds)

The next bell is almost directly south from the previous one, still on the Shrine island but outside the main grounds. The terrain here is flat, so spotting the bell shouldn’t be hard.

Copper Bell 4 – Witherwilds, Moonveil Mountain, South Qinghe

The last bell is located in the misty area of Witherwilds, to the west of Moonveil Mountain. Seek out a ruined shrine—the bell stands among the broken structures.

When all four are rung, the Lion’s Roar unlocks automatically.

What Lion’s Roar Does

Lion’s Roar summons a giant bell and blasts enemies with consecutive shockwaves. Each hit can trigger additional effects depending on your upgrades and what debuffs the enemy already has. During the attack, you also gain Tenacity, giving you stronger hyper armor and extra defense.

A simple example: If you apply poison with Leaping Frog, then hit that poisoned target with Lion’s Roar, it will spread the poison to those enemies nearby.

As you upgrade the skill, it picks up new perks:

  • Tier 2: Higher bonus to tenacity
  • Tier 3 – Hitting the same enemy at least five times will silence it for 3 seconds.
  • Tier 4: Take 40% less damage while using the skill

It’s powerful, it plays well with other Mystic Skills, and—let’s be honest—there’s something undeniably fun about slamming a giant bell into the battlefield just to make some noise.
