Deerforage’s Remedy is one of those small encounter quests that are tucked away in Where Winds Meet. It is not required for the main storyline, yet it does count towards your Jianghu Legacy progress-especially because it unlocks the Lost Cause Prayers wandering tale later in Qinghe.
The quest takes you through a trail of clues, a few sudden twists, and finally a mythical reveal. Here is how to get it done from start to finish.

How to Embark on the Quest

Head to Deerforage Grove in Moonveil Mountain, Qinghe. Near the river, you’ll find Yi Shimo crying. Speaking to her triggers the encounter.

Walkthrough

She asks for your help when you first meet her in Deerforage Grove. Talking to her gives you the Wildfire Spark Tome and your first clue, which points you toward Porcelain Kiln. Fast travel to Kilnfire Ridge. You’ll spot Shi Yimo again, this time perched on the roof of a barracks. A quick chat reveals she’s off on “treasure hunting” next. Fast travel to Thousand Buddha Village.

Talk to her again to figure out where she’s planning to go. It is here that she falls and realizes something is not right. Use your healing arts and stabilize her. Once she recovers, tell her she’s been poisoned. That’s when she opens up about a secret she’s been keeping. Suddenly, her sister, Fuling, appears and is plotting to poison Yi Shimo again.

Warn Fuling before she enacts her plan. You can often find these while exploring, but if you don’t already have them, search the nearby area until you gather three. Bring the mushrooms back. Fuling cooks up something for you to try—sample it. The quest automatically concludes once both sisters are gone.
